The Twill skill teaches an agent outside Twill to create cloud tasks and follow their progress. For Twill Desktop project chats, use the built-in Handoff workflow instead: it prepares your pushed branches and links the local and cloud chats.

Install the Twill skill

Ask your agent to read twill.ai/skill.md and install it in that agent’s supported skills directory. Follow the skill’s authentication instructions for your cloud workspace, then ask the agent to use Twill for a task. Your agent can use the task link to check progress and send follow-ups. Review questions and plan approvals in the Twill task chat when needed. See the CLI for direct terminal commands.
